Good day folks, been a long, long time since I have played Lizardmen, I mean Seraphon. I dug out all my old minis (metals/oldhammer plastics) to salvage what I could and try make lustria great again. Although I am having to use some of the newer plastics. This is the list I plan on running, it's a bit out there for a FireLance list but thought it could be fun. Any feedback on how to optimise this would be great. I have all the models that you have listed there, with the exception of Kroak. Are saurus guard worth taking? Also a unit of knights that size would it not be a bit unwieldy?
the guard are for your slann/kroak so you can give the wounds to you guard that are 3" away on a 2+ instead of kroak/slann taking them all. the knights ya maybe a little unwieldy, can take 10 knights nd scar-vet on carno instead. with the guard nd kroak is a nice MW generator. if you want it to be more magic add an astrolith bearer nd baelwind with those 2 your giving kroak/slann a +2 to casting nd can get up to +4 casting with thier built in +1 nd another +1 from the asterisms. most people will let you proxy your slann for kroak they look almost alike the general shape of them.
I think I will give something like this a try, once normality returns to the world. I was also thinking about a magic heavy army and this could be the best of both
