I’m going to be taking part in a tournament at my FLGS soon and I wanted a list that while not insane is still powerful. What do y’all think? I have been thinking of a list very similar to this , I posted it on a different thread but I'm looking into maybe addisng my bastilidon in instead of the shadow strike. Do you have a Astrolith Bearer ?
I would also suggest playing the Skinks in the Shadowstrike 40+20 instead of 30+30 in most cases. The problem with units of 30 is: The enemy has to cause one wound on them and your Skinks lose their bonus. Sure, if you go first and are in range for shooting in round one you will probably do a few wounds more with 30+30, but it is risky. I'd probably even do 40+10 (since 20 Skinks aren't that much better than 10, IMO they are mostly chaff if they are less than 40) and use the 60 points for something else. An endless spell or two (Geminids of Uhl-Gysh and Soulsnare Shackles for example), a command point, or a Razordon (and still have 20 to spare for a cheap endless spell)
