It's not that i don't like them, however after loosing that "pre colombian tribe" feeling it's different. I know the new story and all, but still...

Thanks @Crowsfoot for all the images!!... I am curious, is there any fluf that suggest whether lord kroak, gor rok and chakax are now generic characters or not?

From what I see from tetto ekko's description it seems that they are going to be very generic and you would be able to fileld a lot of them

I've read upto page 29 and no mention of any of the old characters apart from Kroak.

Kroak has a warscroll on mention of him being unique but he is a single model so could you interpret that as unique?

The others don't exist in the book.

it appears that when the Slann call forth the Seraphon, each slann has his own heros and warriors, skinks etc and all are marked with the markings of that slann.

I like that as it frees you up to have a themed force very easily.

    Thank you a lot, @Crowsfoot !

I was trying to resist the impulse to buy it... but I guess Christmas will be a good excuse to get this battletome in a way or another! :D

I know, the price seems acceptable too, but what made me a bit doubting was the fact I read in some other sites this battletome is a lot vague and sort of repetitive.
Some users depicted it as an infinite repetition of terms like "Celestite" and "star-something", while poor in fluff and narrative infos: that was not too encouraging!

But I guess I'll judge by myself when I'll have the tome in my very hands! :)

    I may need new fluff:

"I have an army of Lizards; its home base is a lost city in a steamy, swampy jungle...somewhere beyond the stars."

    :shifty: I dunno; seems wordy.
