Hi! I'm beginner player and I wondering what will be the best choice to fill Shadowstrike list. Skink Starpriest 20x Skinks 20x Skinks 3x Ripperdactyl Riders Stegadon Shadowstrike Starhost 130pts left. So what will be best option? More skinks? Chameleon skinks? Terradons? Salamanders/Razordons wit Skink Handlers (btw. how exactly skink handlers works?) Thank you in advance! PS. I don't allow any Saurus
Fill up with Razordons they don't really need handlers, handlers extend the range of the missle attacks for Salamanders from 8" to 12" and for Razordons they allow you to reroll hit rolls of 1

Thank you for the advice! I have another three questions: 1.Skink handlers. I know about synergy with Razordons and Salamenders but I can't find any statistics for them. 2.Why not terradons? 3.In case when I have 60 skinks how is most efficent way to deploy it?
1. It is on the Warscrolls. Salamanders gain range and Razordons gain rerolls on hits of one. Salamanders need Handlers more than Razordons do because you can get rerolls for hits from other sources as well (Astrolith Bearer for example) 2. Rippers do more damage than Terradons. I still prefer Terradons because of their bombs and versatility (they also have ranged attacks) 3. 40+20 or 40+10+10 when you need three Battlelines. Always try to max out one unit.
1.Ok, but what with Skink stats? What weapon they have? 4.How bad is idea to make melee only 10 skinks squad, which purpose is helping Stegadon in close combat?
@Aginor your list with 6 Terradons looks really cool. Just one question: The Astrolith Bearer seems like a lot of points in a 1k list. How do you utilize him in your games (do you just keep him in range of the 40 skinks?)?
Yes, I keep him in range of the Skinks. Fully buffed (rerolling saves, saves+1 or enemy hits -1, rerolling all hits, and rerolling wounds of 1) those little buggers are a pain in the behind of the enemy. But you might also drop the Astrolith and... -> play 80 Skinks. That way you have more wounds in a 1k list than most people have in 2k lists. Brutal. I would try it but I actually don't have as many Skinks. -> play 9 Terradons.
