Show me your best convertions for a curious skink
Well I don't have many converted Lizardmen, but I did some work for my troglodon and my coatl:
Troglodon: made from leftover Carnosaur box bits (link). Originally inspired by the works of @Skinquisitor (link) and @kubapj (link)
And my Coatl (link), made with clay, a cold one head, and some plastic pegasus wings.
Lots of other great conversions on this site, such as @ChiliPepa 's Northern Lizardmen, @Jorgik 's stegadon, @Bowser 's entire army, and i know @n810 has what looks like a brontosaurus version of a stegadon. And @tom ndege has an entire conversion lab. There are a lot more I am forgetting.
Edit: I originally read this as you were asking for conversions in general, but maybe you meant conversions for a curious skink? If that is the case I am way off
No i meant xonversions in generaal i am the curious skink xD
If that's the case... let's start with the painted ones...
Two oldbloods made from temple guards:
Next the skink hero with bow
Two star priests:
Another skink hero
The last skink hero for this post
His right foot is supposed to be placed on some part of the base causing a funny position when he's not on his base...
That's it for now... but there's some more...
I will dig up some of my own conversions soon. Not that many yet but maybe interesting for someone.
Here is my Golden Serpent entry...
Where did you get the blue platform? Do you have the file yet?
I made the blue platform from scratch. I designed it, drew it out and then cut from plastic using my Scroll Saw.
I thought you designed it in 3D. That's why I asked you about the file.
And how was it finished? did you paint it?
I designed this Howdah in 3D. And I'm just discovering your design. They are very similar.
I created it for Sinaraipaints, which bought a Brachiosaurus to transform it into a thunderlizard, and I made it the Howdah.
It is still in the process of printing.
I have 2 FDM printers if anyone has files they don't mind sharing or if you want something printed UK I can do that for you for postage and depending on file costs .
You have more articles to print in 3D here:
Funnily enough I just finished printing the battering ram from thingiverse thanks for the thread
Nope... good old paper and pencil (and a little bit of photoshop to bring it all together).
Thank you very much!
I have yet to touch it. Maybe I'll paint it one day! (maybe)
Wow! That is pretty damn cool. I'm afraid I don't know how to create such awesome things in 3D. Did you use Z-Brush?
Mine was quite a bit more primitive... I used this...
That ram was my idea. I asked VidoVicarts, if I could do it when I didn't know how to design in 3D before, maybe I'll improve it later.
Do you have any AOS stegadon purchased?
I need someone to help me test some columns that I am making in 3D. and I need to know if they fit well, in the AOS Stegadon.
I am creating a new Howdah.
No, just use Rhinoceros.
In the link I shared above, of articles to print in 3D, maybe you can find things that are useful for you to finish it.
Not far away you can see this beefy dragon made from Carnosaur which is an absolute masterpiece and an inspiration and motivation source!
@Unoalazar Sorry I sold my lizardmen off printing for a friend
I think the link is wrong
