Thanks, fixed. Apparently if you simply paste the link pointing to the forum it will double post it and you cave to use the Link button instead.

    I use Rhinoceros.
That serves to make solid objects, structures and some designs in modeling.

Other people use solid works, for the same, I honestly don't know which one is better.
But if you want to model creatures, characters, texture details, that's what zbrush is for.

You can download all of them online for free, and there are tutorials on YouTube.

What Rhinoceros allows me, that ZBrush does not do, is to work with real measures.

For example, I made some banners designs for stegadon based on the original measurements, when printed, they will have the same measurements as the original and will be similar designs, but not the same.

I will soon release these designs also for free download on thingiverse.

Do you guys or anyone one here have a blog that goes into some detail about the 3d printing process and how to get into the hobby? I think that would super interesting for me and a lot of other people who dont know too much about it.

    Yes.
This download on the Internet. If you pay more, it's because you want to.

I also made a Stegadon Skull Alter and am slowly working on my Thunderlizard which I almost have the rules done for!
