Last Sunday I played at the BloodStorm Age of Sigmar tournament in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. It's an event for 34 players where sportmanship is awarded the biggest prize. This means Every match your list is scored by your opponent (pre-game, 0, 10 or 20 points) and your sportmanship is scored (post-game, between 0 and 20). Then there is the usual points for objective (20 points for a win) and every match had a secondary secret objective which could add 10 points. Pairing is done using the swiss matching system. My list: Allegiance: Seraphon - Mortal Realm: Ulgu LEADERS Slann Starmaster (260) General Command Trait : Great Rememberer Spell: Stellar tempest Skink Starpriest (80) Spell: Stellar tempest Saurus Astrolith Bearer (160) Artefact : Miasmatic Blade Saurus Eternity Warden (140) Artefact : Spellmirror UNITS 10 x Saurus Guard (160) 5 x Saurus Guard (80) 5 x Saurus Guard (80) 5 x Chameleon Skinks (110) 3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140) 3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140) 20 x Skinks (140) Meteoric Javelins & Star Bucklers 10 x Skinks (70) Meteoric Javelins & Star Bucklers BEHEMOTHS Bastiladon (280) BATTALIONS Eternal Starhost (150) I made a list with a bit of everything but not something (I think) you would see in a competative tournament. I tested this out prior and had a few laughs (and defeats (NEVER play without a Slann). As this was a 'casual' tournament I figured this wouldn't be a problem. …. Until I received the lists of the competitors… 3 deamon of Khorne lists with Scarbrand and two other greater deamons A greater deamon of Nurgle (well two) and Rottigus Full blown Slann summon list with two Bastilladons Tagteam duo Stardrake list Stonehorns galore! (And two snowball lovers) In short I felt a bit underpowered.. (putting it friendly). Still, on I went…. (Typing up the batreps at the moment )
