Howdy all! I hope the holidays treated everyone alright, and I look forward to catching up on everybody's blogs in the coming few days. For myself the world has just stopped spinning and I'm looking forward to the new year, and I've set myself a challenge. Over 2018 I amassed far more plastic than I painted, so for 2019 I'm going to try to paint as much of it as possible. The goal is this; Every warhammer mini in my collection on January 1st will be painted to a tabletop standard by December 31st. Whether I actually complete it or not, hopefully this will act as a motivator. Also I've wanted to start up a paint log in the actual paint log section and this seems a good a reason as any. The full list is as follows: Seraphon Oldblood on Carnosaur - 0 /1 Troglodon - 0 /1 Stegadon - 0 /1 Bastilodon - 0 /1 Scar Vet on Cold One - 0 /1 Slann - 0 /1 Skink Starpriest - 0 /1 Saurus Hero on Foot - 0 /1 Astrolith Bearer - 0 /1 Ripperdactyl / Terradon - 0 / 9 Saurus Knights - 0 /15 Warriors - 0 / 29 Skinks - 0 / 27 Chameleon Skinks - 0 / 10 Chaos Knights - 3 /15 Warhounds - 6 /20 Warriors - 7 /36 Marauders - 0 /40 Chaos Chosen - 0 /10 Chaos Gargant - 0 /1 Chaos Warshrine - 0 /1 Chaos Chariot - 0 /1 Chaos Lord on Manticore - 0 /1 Misc. Thorns of the Briarqueen warband - 7/7 Stormsire's Cursebreakers warband - 3/3 Running Total - 24 / 234 - 10% This means painting just under twenty miniatures a month, which seems very tough but doable, especially considering many of them are small battleline units. How much of this I manage to get done I guess we'll have to wait a year to see!
