Flash drives are banned.
They really seem to have it in for you.
@n810 do you have an apprentice that will take your place?
I used to work for an “...Entity...” similar to the one N810 works for. It’s much more likely to be a brand new set of Sys Admins just rigidly following existing policy.
(Somebody went and read the manuals)
I have been amazed at the benign leniency he has enjoyed given who/what his employer is.
A more practical idea might be getting him a working photoshop program outside of work.
Those can probably be "found" on the interwebs.
I was thinking a legit Photoshop rather than a dodgy one or a Chinese knockoff.
Who would suggest such a thing?
Photoshop Elements is probably fairly inexpensive.
Paint.NET is pretty awesome. Sure it isn't Photoshop but you can actually do a lot with hit.
And if you want/need something more powerful: GIMP is also free.
Gimp is awesome.
Hell, I propose we do a crowdfunding measure so we can pool money and get him Photoshop. Considering how much we use his services
I have tried GINP, I find it's interface baffling.
This sounds more like a retirement. @n810 has worked very hard over the years to provide everyone with great avatar pictures.
I do appreciate his dedication
Dedication that has spanned years and years and years. Three cheers for @n810
Yeah, GIMP's interface is a bit... strange. But there are indeed good tutorials for it.
For simple stuff I still use Paint.NET, it can even open (not too complex) photoshop files with layers. And that one is very easy to use.
I prefer hip hip hurrah!
Ones more classy and British.
