Frinds, This doubts has appeared in a game I was playing: 1. When I have a priest with the engine of gods, with bane head... The effect of the bane head occurs in the damage of the engine of the gods? Because the engine works WITH the priest, without a priest is a normal ancient stegadon without the giants blowpipes... 2. The Ancient stegadon, obviously with 2 giants blowpipes, they can stand and shoot? Cheers., Marcos
1. I'd say definitely yes since it is most certainly the priest using the abilities of the engine, his bane head will effect it. 2. Answered in the GW LM FAQ: So no stand and shoot.
I´ve use that way, the bane head counting double wounds on the EotG, but then my some friends question me about this Q&A on lizardmen Faq: Q. Page 55. Are the effects of the Engine of the Gods treated as a bound spell carried by the Skink Priest? Will a spell cast by the Priest stop the effects of the Engine? And will any effect of the Engine dispel a previously cast spell by the Skink Priest? A. No. Although the Engine of the Gods can only be used so long as the Priest is alive, it isn’t any sort of magic item, and it’s not him that’s casting the spells. In this way of interpreting rules, I believe that no bane head for the EotG... How do you think in this case??? Cheers
