For quite a while I stopped playing my beloved lizards, but with the new battletome dropping, my inner child has once again been awakened! Spellcasting seraphon and skinks has always been my favorite. However, by running a skink army, I dont see much use of our new ability to generate command points, so I lean towards a saurus based army right now - or am I missing something? I have done a lot of list building and theorizing, and finally have a list I am curious to what you guys think: Allegiance: Seraphon Mortal Realm: Hysh - Constellation: Dracothion's Tail LEADERS Lord Kroak (320) - Spell : Stellar Tempest Saurus Astrolith Bearer (140) - Artefact : Aetherquartz Brooch Skink Starseer (140) - Spell : Hand of Glory Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (110) Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (250) - General - Artefact : Godbeast Pendant UNITS 10 x Saurus Knights (200) - Lances 10 x Saurus Knights (200) - Lances 5 x Saurus Knights (100) - Lances 12 x Salamander Hunting Pack (240) BATTALIONS Firelance Starhost (160) ENDLESS SPELLS / TERRAIN / COMMAND POINTS Balewind Vortex (40) Bound Geminids of Uhl-Gysh (70) TOTAL: 1970/2000 EXTRA COMMAND POINTS: 1 WOUNDS: 105 I have considered bumping one unit of Saurus Knights down to 5, or dropping Geminids in favor of upgrading the Scar-Veteran to ride a Carnosaur and give him sword of judgement. The plan is to keep 2 units of Saurus Knights, the Oldblood and Salamander in heavens. My gaming group is quite competetive, and I have hopes to try a tournament at some point. What do you think, can this list compete? Any help or criticism is welcome!
well glad you desided to join us it's always good to have a lurker finally say hi. i wouldn't drop geminids your running a very glass hammer list and you need the protection. be careful when picking your targets you have a lot of missiles and it's going to take practice to put them where they need to go.
