    Hi,
models look really great! One question: would you mind sharing your nmm palette? I've been trying around other methods but am not satisfied with the results.

    Thanks in advance!

Wow your ripperdactyls are really great. The one with the galaxy pattern on his wings is just stunning. You have some serious talents. I'm glad I saw these :)

    Of course !

I am using paints from GW:
Dawnstone (only as base color, cause most of the time I am priming my miniatures black)
    Rhinox hide
    Mournfang brown
    Squig orange
    Skull whiye

    - orange and mournfang brown are only glazes to get some deep and (with orange), smooth and little color change next to the light place :)

Its been really long time when i posted smth but I had commisions, so almost no time for my Saurians. Fortunately now I only have Arachnarok spider to paint for ebay so more time to work on my army :) decided to leave ( :( ) galaxy patyerned ripper due to fact he is too small, so I changed the mount to normal ripper with tiqtaqto on top. Also i had an idea about new pattern (yes yes third :D) but it will take definietly more time to do this :O

    See you soon!

Thanks a lot! Just to see I got it right:
So prime black, then base colour is dawnstone. rhinohide next. Then layering by adding white to rhinohide, creating the highlights.
    Finally glaze with Mournfang/orange.
    Correct?
Will give it a try when I have finished my skinks....

Instead of basecoating it withpure rhinox hide i made it like that:
    1) dawnstone
    2) mix of rhinox hide and skull white - 50:50
    3) wet blending pure rhinox hide where you want to have shadows
    4) wet blending where you want to have light reflexing
    5) glaze with mournfang brown towards shadow
    6) glaze with orange towards highlights
    7) dots or lines with pure whit at the top of higlights

The picture took forever for my computer to load, but the wing looked fantastic so I let the computer finish.

    Well done!

What has inspired the designs on the wings?
