Blog Drofnum's first attempt at painting. Sky pirate update.

The gore on the Carnosaur's teeth is a bit too thick for my taste, but otherwise it looks really awesome!
....and I think I'll ask my friend if I can have that Aleguzzler's alternative head in exchange for some bits of my army....

Yeah i'm thinking I may try to shave it down once it completely hardens, it was a hard balance between the epoxy being too liquid to hold the string and too hard to work with so once it got on there I was just happy it stuck. Should be dry later today and I may see if i can shave it down to get the teeth a bit less clumpy, I dont think it looks very natural there.

Epic. Bloody, gory, and fantastically put together. Really amazing work you did with that carnosaur, I also like how you positioned the horns on the rider's saddle.

Also just saw your changes to your skink assassin, looks great!

Absolutely gorgeous! Fantastic detail, and it looks amazing.

The gore on the Carno's mouth is rad, nicely done!

Try using UHU glue to create your gore.

I'll check that out. I just had epoxy left over from doing the water so i tried using that, it was definitely harder to work with than i would have liked.

Leopard skinks? Jaguar skinks? Should i keep going on this?

Going to see if i can find some tall grass to use on the base, give it a predator cat lizard in the weeds feel. We'll see how it plays out.

It is slow going with these guys though! Getting some hand cramps just from that one guy, although sparring today probably didnt help my cause...

to avoid hand cramps try working on one in a tiger look in between:p... just somehow keep going on this guy! realy cool idea!

At first I didn't like the cat print, but then I came back to it a little while later and I think its really well done! Especially the way you did the spots, great job!

I like the spots! I'm doing something similar with my chamo Skinks... I'm pretty sure we mentioned it in another thread not so long ago.

Looks great, very different.
