Finished up my engine of the gods last weekend.

    EotGfront.jpg

    everything is undercoated in black.
Base is done in scorched brown, with a bleached bone highlight lightly drybrushed.
stepping stone in battlegrey with a fortressgrey highlight and the braches a calthan brown highlight.
some static grass was added, later on i will add plastic terrarium plants to the base.

    EotGfront2.jpg

Stegadon was base coated in orkhide shade and drybrushed with goblin green and a light drybrush with (putrid?) green. All the bone parts were painted scorhed brown with 2 thin layers of bleached bone. then washed in devlan mud and highlighted with bleached bone.
All the gold is done in tin bitz with a few thin layers on burnished gold.

    EotGhead.jpg

the howda was done in battlegrey and highlighted with fortress grey, wood parts with scorched brown and calthan highlights and cloth in bleached bone with devlan mud wash, final highlights with bleached bone again.

the skinks are done in macharius solar orange and highlighted in fiery orange, scales in scorhed brown with calthan highlight. teeth and toes in bleached bone with white highlights and yellow eyes.

the skirt of the priest was done in deneb stone with white highlights.

What can I say? What is there to say? It looks absolutely fantastic! Brilliant work! You didn't use an ink/wash on the stegadon? It looks quite shiny.

I think you have done really well! I like the greens you have used on the Stegadon.

Very cool. Not sure I like orange Skinks, but they're still well done and contrast well with the Steg. Kudos.
