I quite like the kitbash - kitbashing is my primary method of conversion (beyond some tentative attempts at green-stuffing, which I really should update). My favourite part is the hench tail - I love the Oldblood models that come with the Carnosaur, and I've sourced a few off eBay for my own conversions.

The pose reminded me of this:

Yes right now I'm looking at 20 primal temple guardians. A lot of work and the first time I have used green stuff....I got lucky at my local GW there was an auction for a big bin of bits and I got it for 20 euro lol. So far I have all the pieces to make some ripperdactyls, stegadon, 40 temple guards, lot of savage orcs stuff, and all the parts to make the Exalted Deathbringer and the Slaughterpriest. (really lucked out on this saved so much money!!! still digging through this bin!!!) so I thought why not try it out ^_^

@Slanputin I know what you mean about that model I was trying to get a few myself but even on ebay (at least the ones I saw are too expensive for me)...if only my molding stuff would get here...)

That has got to be the world's grumpiest alligator.

I can't look for it now, but have a look at @za greekie's army on parade - I think he converted some rat ogres to be lizard champions of some sort, or maybe kroxigora.

Can anyone find the link? I'm guessing they would have been on page 3 or so on a very large thread.

    Thanks, Pops.

It was page 8 of the thread, and the master used a savage orc war boss body.

The images aren't showing for me:(

    Looking good.

If it is an Albino color scheme you want, I will highly recommend looking at pictures and other models, as Crowsfoot suggested.

As we are talking dinosaurs here, maybe this could help:

How do you plan to set them in units (just ignore this if you are playing AOS)?

@ASSASSIN_NR_1 , I just got into this hobby in October and the only rule books I have been able to find are for AOS and im liking the fluff. When I can get a chance to play it will be AOS but if I can find the 8th ed I will look into it...I was trying to get all my lizardmen on square bases but now at every hobby shop I go to I can only find AOS models for my lizardmen. My birds and other big guys will be on rounded/ oval bases...thems the brakes ;)

AOS is the only game I play and it's really good fun, having never played warhammer I have nothing to disappoint me with AOS as in how it compares.

Most of my Seraphon are on square bases and I'm still using movement trays.

Then you are pretty much only going to be able to play AOS, and that is totally fine.

Have you looked at 9th age?

Basically, when Games Workshop decided to stop with 8th edition and make AOS (effectively destroying the world and starting over with a new one created by Sigmar) a BUNCH of the community playing Warhammer Fantasy was quite upset.

The play style of AOS seriously affected the tournament circuit since building an army based off of assigning point values to certain units (for example, 300 points for a Slann Priest) and setting the tournament cap at 2500 points was how things were always done. AOS has no point system. Its just bring whatever. That doesn't work with a tournament scene since there is no way to keep things fair under those rules. So one of the main tournament committees started a movement called 9th age to re-write the 8th edition game and move it forward to the next edition, continuing the Warhammer Fantasy story that has been around for 30 years.

A LOT of people have gotten behind this fan-led effort to balance the rules, fix things that were problems in 8th, and meet the desires of the majority of players. 9th age is still in the beta version but it is getting closer and closer to a final rendition. This is a very good thing for the community, since it is getting many people back into the game when they became disillusioned when GW blew up what was a 30 year old game. It keeps picking up steam and will probably ultimately be the game most Warhammer enthusiasts play.

As I said, it is still in its beta verion, so things are still changing, but there is still a lot of information out there and people are playing more and more games with it. There are Battle Reports up on their website as well as conversations galore. I highly encourage you to look into it.

You can find all of their rules for free on their website here: http://www.the-ninth-age.com/index.php?simple-page/

Sure. I'll need to look it up and make sure, but I think that the Saurus Warriors are based on a 25x25mm base while the Skinks are on a 20x20mm base. The Ripperdactyls are on a 40x40mm base while the Bastiladon is on a 50x100mm base (standard chariot base).
