Enjoy and let me know what you think, this is just after an hour of work and I am looking to expand it in the future.

    Lord Al’Tzanu, Temple-City of Iron, Ilk’Nahadu

Lord Al’Tzanu set off from lustria circa -6000 to set up a Temple-City in the Hinterlands of Khuresh. After the entrance of chaos into the world, The City and its sister cities in the Hinterlands where left to defend for themselves from the gibbering hordes of foul daemons. After half a millennia of cataclysmic battles and major loses only Ilk’Nahadu was left standing. Al’Tzanu, a 2’nd Spawning Slann Mage-Priest, Was the only Slann left alive in the far reaches of the Worlde. It was up to him to rebuild the cities that had falling.

Upon revisiting the destroyed cities he declared them to be un-hospitital as the daemon blood that stained them had seeped into the very foundations and spawning pools. However Al’Tzanu, being versed in the lore of metallurgy, instructed his skinks to recover every bit of metal, valuable or not to the left to the Iron city. Here he made forges enviable even to the great Elven warsmith, Vaul, which smelted down the metal to its pure form using extreme heat and magic. These ingots formed, imbued with magically power, he created walls around his city, imprenatlbby to all but the most worthy and determined foe.

Years passed as he never once entered meditation as contact was lost to Lustria and his expertise was needed in rebuilding his lost empire. Ilk’Nahadu soon became prosperous and humans from Grand Cathy soon sent envoys to this mythical city to see if it truly existed, none returned sane. Most of these parties saw its perfect gleaming walls of gold and other exquisite metals and greed overtook them. Being a watcher of the new races greeted by the great Old Ones, he looks down with compassion upon these humans. Rather than kill them with dozens of poisoned darts he destroyed their minds and melted all metal they possessed. This convinced them that chaos was at work and fled back to Cathy. Using misdirection and confusing, Al’Tzanu made the humans reach back home aged and haggard and full of far fetched tales of melting metal and baleful magic. Hearing this, the emperor of Cathy declared that the City and its surrounding areas to be strictly off limits, not risking any further loss of life from his fellow humans.

At this times the Elves started to colonise the Worlde, and came into the contact with the City of Iron. The Slann felt a great power in one mage in the Elf forces and granted him entrance into the city. After a year of constant diplomacy he allowed the Elves to colonise the old temple cities, however he warned them of the chaos infection and the elf mages cast a great vortex which cleaned the cities after decades of incantations, never broken and taken up by new mages. Having stripped the cities of all value, Lord Al’Tzanu was not disturbed by the presence of Elves, infact a blossoming trade developed between then two and peace was all as it seemed. This peace lasted for millennium with Al’Tzanu created great artefacts for his fellow lovers of metal and regularly had Elven mages pilgrim to his city for advice and teachings in the Lore of Metal, which he was master.

Eventually the Elves grew greedy and believed themselves better than the primitive lizards. This proved fatal when they attacked the City of Iron with a full warhost. Led by the Prince Ultaren and Arch-Mage Teluthan, they finally breached the walls of The Iron City after months of perment bombardment from mundane and magical weapons. Upon the breach the Elves where met by Lord Al’Tzanu himself and his now immensely powerful temple guard. Showing his rage he turned elf after elf into molten gold, causing all in his path to literally melt away. Finally Ultarenn met the Slann’s unit with a large unit of silver helms. Their thunderous path cut a line straight towards the Mage-Priest, who in turn used their fine armour against them, causing them to die instantly. Finally the Elvin Lord was at the feet at the Slann but as he was about to slice at his apparently exposed head, Lord Al’Tzanu destroyed the Elven sword, which he created, at a flick of his elongated hand and the Elven lord was in turn mauled by the temple guards halberds. The Slann decided that his chosen Old-Blood and general, Tov-Sha should be deemed the honour of killing him and smote him with a swipe from his two handed mace. With the death of their Lord, the Elves railed around their mage who chanted a last spell that was even too powerful for him, and feeling the winds of chaos grip him he could not let go. In a shuddering explosion the entire elf backline was sucked into the warp along with the hapless mage. The reminnets of the Elves fled back to their temple cities only to be hounded by skinks and saurus until upon the steps of each city, the population of Elves on the Hinterlands was executed.

The Lord Slann felt great pain at this but knew that the Elves had brought it upon themselves and they knew the consequences. After this battle he entered a great meditation where He has just woken up from hearing the calls of his fellow Slann’s in Lustria, barely a whisper over a loud crowd but he new what he was asked to do. He must return to the old world and recover lost plaques of the Old Ones and decipherer them. So from this he led a great army north and through Cathy and into the lands of chaos to take back what is rightfully theirs.

Maybe you could cut up that big block of text into more manageable chunks.
