    Hi Everyone!

First time posting but long time guest. Love seeing all the great work and ideas that you all put out. Very inspiring, informative and helps me along when I get stuck building my Lustrian Legion.

I have about 90% of a 2k army painted and will post up the pics as soon as possible. I've uploaded a pic of my Sallamander (wip still have to base it) as a test to make sure I can do it :)

Not bad at all decent highlights and even some blending on the dorsal fin.
He could use some basing of course.

Oh yea welcome to Lustria. :D

I reallly like your blending of browns but may I suggest a more jungle feel for your basing it will help brake up the red brown and make the figures stick out.

I love the colours of your salamander. What paints did you use for the scales and fins?

Happy new year all. Had to take a break to recover from the holiday dinners and new years night but i was able to get alot of stuffs done and will upload soon. I got a AOW lizardmen champion and painted him up as an Albino Kroxigor. Name him what you will ;)

I didnt like his club/cinderblock weapon and tried to convert it into an axe of sorts. I'm happy with it and hope he does me proud in battles. I'll try to get up some more pics soon. c and c always welcome.

Thanks guys. When i saw the giant Arachnarok Spider i thought i needed someone who could chop off some legs. :bored: axe was made with GS over the axe head which i cut out of a stiff business card. In hind sight i would've used something a bit harder but for a first time i like it.

I'll be putting up some other pics this week of the rest of my Red Legion

Everything about this model is really well done. The basing, copper, skin and scale highlights, et al. The only thing that niggles me is the metallic silver axe head. It could just be personal preference (I'm not a huge fan of the platinum silver or whatever it's called), but I feel like maybe something obsinite-like (and thus, less shiny) might look less distracting.

Thanks Old Mossy. Tbh the axe head is reflecting the halogen lights in my kitchen that are directly above the mini. Its not as shiny as in the pic. Im planning to revisit it at some point to add a glowing effect to it (either blue or green tint, not sure yet) via washes.

Hey fellow Lustrians. hope alls good. I finally got around to finishing up my painting. Only the steg crew and 30 skinks to go. decided to put up my recent pet, Saurus Oldblood. Still have a couple of washes to go through on the brass paarts but its pretty much done.

Haven't posted in a while and hope this works :)
