Hey guys I dont see a ruling for this anywhere... so in one formation you need a certain amount of units.. lets say 3 units of skinks... and lets say there is another formation that needs 2 skinks.... if you bring 3 skink units does this amount count as both formations or would you need 5. If you say no you need 5 units, please specify if this was a tournament rule, house, or book. If its a book rule please specify which book and page. Thanks!
You need 5, units can only be part of one formation/battalion only exception is the starbeast constellation. It is a book rule but I don't have access to it at the moment but it clearly says the above.
It's somewhere in the part about the Battalion warscrolls and how to use them, will clearly state that a unit can only benefit from one Battalion.
