Hi Guys, Probably not very competative and has alot of hamstring. But I like guard alot and want to make them work! Its alot of battalion cost, but on the upside you only have 2 drops. The aim is to take out the enemies mortal wound output. Or anything that has rend -2. For items maybe Lens of refraction and light of dracothion? But maybe thats to wizard heavy. Which items would you recommend? I like that list. I played a similar one (with Terradons instead of Rippers) against Bonesplitterz. Their Kunnin' Rukk wasn't a match for my Guards and their only source for mortal wounds (a wizard) was killed by my Shadowstrike in turn one. I called the list "Eternal Shadow" and it did work against Ironjawz as well. Really competitive? Probably not. But IMO that's a way Guards can work.
Lense of Refraction has been Errata'ed, but is still a great choice. I would equip it to your Eternity Warden. If you take the Realm of Ulgu you could equip SpellMirror on the Eternity Warden and Talisman of the Watch on your Starpriest. Regardless of which realm you take I would make the Starpriest your General for the Master of Star Rituals command trait.
