I dunno, 4 weekends sounds too few. Maybe 6 weeks? 2 weeks prep/planning/gathering materials, couple of weeks to build and dry (my Coven Throne base took over a week to dry out properly), and then a couple of weeks to paint and decorate?
This competition looks fun, count me in! I am good with whatever length is decided, I will do my best. Is there a running list of competitors and terrain-piece choices yet? I need to come up with one to throw into the pot. Also is there a dimensions criteria or limit? Like 12x12 inch base, or is it just going to be open ended?
I'm hoping there's a pretty loose definition of terrain size. Personally, I have a large monster base I'd like to use for the challenge. My entry btw : spess - terrain that is hard to navigate (labyrinths, thick jungles, etc)
Why, now isn't it a pleasant surprise?) My first day in jungle and a contest that I would just love to participate in! Name: The Penguin Terrain: Trading post Looking forward to making something interesting. After all one can never have enough terrain! )
By the way... do you have your own top hat for the raffle? If not, @NIGHTBRINGER could lent you his... while he's not taking part...
I'm thinking of having a special category where @NIGHTBRINGER is the only contestant and he finishes one of his own projects just so he finishes something!
Maybe if we keep pushing him towards terrain/ scenery he'll end up painting another mini... what - looking at his recently finished kroxigor- wouldn't be too bad...
