Im logged in and i wrote up a HUGE battle report... but when i went to submit it it logged me out and i lost it all......is their anyway to retrieve it?
Happened to me in my into page... Wrote a whole chunk of stuff with detials, pics of minis and all but when I went to post I lost everything! Did not feel like doing allover again so I only posted up my pics recently What I always do before posting (fool me once... shame on me, fool me twice... don't think so) is I simply copy the whole the whole text. If I get the error (happened once after the intro post) I simply paste the selection and post again. Anyways, looking forward to that battle report revered one!
Would be funny to have an army of tomb kings with no soccerer or any magic user since they are all driven by magic (No skeletons can't just walk)
Believe it or not, Suppe actually has some good advice here. I always copy my army lists and other lengthy posts from Notepad or MS Word. It's just a little safety measure when the internet is acting shaky.
Yeah there is no way to recover it unless you act immediately, which is obviously too late now, and even then it only sometimes works. If you press back after getting to an error message or the login screen, it will sometimes go back to the new topic screen with your words still there. Sometimes it loads up blank though. Sucks to lose a big post, I have cookies set to keep me logged in so that won't happen but even so random errors do occasionally occur. Big posts I will highlight and hit ctrl-c before posting if I remember, I get a bit slack sometimes though.
