I know. I was just seizing the opportunity to make fun of the overly large shoulder pads that would restrict any possible useful combat movement! :D

Why every fantasy forum topic ever always has to end on chest armor for female characters issues?

    Probably not.
...if the studios finally get it right.

Nothing interesting coming out this week, but remember that Adepticon is nearly here! Not long before (hopefully) we find out which is the next army to get a tome and reinforcements.

I think it is because some people are more interested in fantasy armour while others would prefer something more realistic.

Cuz GW made a model with a weird breastplate :p

More in general, cuz they're usually the ones that look the least practical, logical and fitting with the character, even in-universe, which makes em stand out.

Adepticon is in a couple of days time so I don’t know if the reveal will be out by then, but in the preview for the new white dwarf, it mentions a feature in the Age of Sigmar section called the ‘Stormvault Warlords’. If there are any other UK subscribers, we might well be privy to some upcoming reveals before they are officially revealed!

From what I've read of the preview, it's going to be basically A Tale of Four Warlords but themed around Stormvault - there may well be one faction in each Grand Alliance that features in this Forbidden Power expansion prominently, and the staff collect these factions, or maybe the staff just collect an army each using the rules from Stormvault.

Looks like nothing much. I followed the link. It said,

Stormvault Warlords is four guys starting one new army each.
    :meh:
    Not earth shattering.

It’s unlikely to be much, but it still might be some early news on Stormvault before the big reveal, so if it does get released before Thursday it still may well be worth looking into a bit

    More Endless Spells, move on.

    Magmic Invocations for Fyreslayers.

Kharadron band for Underworlds, plus a mention of "plants vs. fungus".

Iron Golems for Warcry, alongside plastic Furies and 9 factions at launch.

    Apocalypse rules for 8E.

NSFW, but oh boy, the burn. Spicy.

Hedonites of Slaanesh on the way, alongside a new KoS.

All of this and not much more really on: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/03/28/breaking-news-dark-power-unleashed/

The terrible music for slaanesh is rather fitting.

Also those shelves of gray are funny.

And is that guy next to the golemn a chaos dwarf of sorts? He seems rather short and stocky.

Some badass artwork right here, more like the old Slayers... :joyful:

Shame there’s no sign of additional units, but I love the Magmic Invocation - looking forward to getting one of these and seeing him sludge around the battlefield and nomming enemy units.

And that forge piece... a very very nice piece of terrain. Just hoping it isn’t too expensive...[IMG]

Also, the forbidden power being just a collection of endless spells is thoroughly dissapointing. Especially with them all being death themed. And it doesn't even appear like there's a lot of em, just 3 by the looks of what they showed. Unless their effects are truly unique, in that case the build up might actually result in something..

About time too - I'm looking forward to seeing what this new battletome and the invocations do for us.

People are grumbling like longbeards that we didn't get any new models, but the new tome will give us more options regardless with the lodge rules and the invocations all look pretty great. That wall will certainly be handy against all shooty armies...

Also the forge scenery piece will look great among my regular Dwarfs in games of Fantasy as well as Fyreslayers, so that is a must-buy for me I'd say.

I like the forge and the lava monster.
The rest of the news... meh.
I am happy for the Fyreslayers players though! They have been waiting for a long time, too.

Edit: and the Slaanesh stuff looks pretty good as well. I am personally not a fan but they seem to be well done.

Confirmed that it is just a rumour yes, anything else no... ;)

But as I've been saying in the rumour thread, I'm pretty sure that GW must be planning to give all 4 main Chaos God factions a suitable tome first, then they'll charter the Seraphon's triumphant return in a renewed assault to take down all these new Chaos gribblies, with a new Battletome and Endless Spells with bells on. I'd say it shouldn't be too long after Fyreslayers and Slaanesh have been released.
