How you handle this ítem? Let's say you got a Oldblood with Charmed Shield & Healing Potion on Carnosaur, it takes a warmachine hit and the rider is saved by wasting Charmed Shield but the mount is seriously wounded. Is healing potion allowed to heal the mount as it says the model? Thank you.
Great Question... ... I have no idea ??? Edit: borkbork, the carnie is a Ridden monster. (slightly different rules)
I think most opponents would object, but i cant really think of any rule that says you cant For monstreous cavalry (when the monster has more wounds than the rider) I looks acceptable that the riders gives the potion to the mount.
The healing potion states, "The imbiber immediately recovers d6 wounds lost in the battle." For normal cav and monstrous cav, there is only one model so it heals the model's wounds. However, monstrous mounts are separate from the rider, hence the need to count wounds on each. Since it is the rider and not the mount consuming/imbibing the potion, only the rider can benefit.
