    Hello everyone!
I'm new on this forum (I was following it since last summer, though).
Recently, I returned to the hobby, after almost 11 years. I left WFB, and now Age of Sigmar was sooo tempting.
    And now I'm here. :D

I bought some Seraphon and Stormcast Eternals stuff. Two days ago I finished my first model since 2005 and I'm looking for some tips, discussion and comments for it.

So, this is my Oldblood on Carnosaur. The second model I will finish is Slann (you can spot him in the background).

I used Vallejo Game Color Paints and Vallejo Satin Varnish. Army Painter stuff on the Base.
    How you like it?

I can make a tutorial for this base, if anyone is interested... ;)
But it's really simple. Some dust, chunks of cork, paints, washes, mix of water and satin varnish for this "a bit wet" effect, Army Painter's Highland Tuft aaaand voilà ;).
    Thanks!

Thank you for your kind words! It's really encouraging :)
I have 2 more Carnos to paint. I'm thinking about selling one (painted on this level) of them on the ebay. Any idea how much could be worth it? Or any idea for the starting price? I guess I could start with 1$ or something.

And about tutotial - I will make one on Saturday. ;)

Well if you start it with $1 you risk selling it for $1. I´d start with 65$ which is the price it costed you ;)

    This seems wise.

Particularly if painted to the standard shown in this thread.

Yes at least start it around what you'd actually like to get for it. If you would be very unhappy with someone getting it for the price don't list it at that price :p

Agree with the boys.. Very nice colour scheme, and lovely, deep contrasts.. Would be a shame to sell a model of this level for just a dollar

I'm thinking about some Mayan/Aztec/Seraphon patterns or symbols. I'm not really sure what I would like to paint on his armor... :p
What do you thing about this colour scheme? And patterns? What would look cool?

The scheme looks good. About the tattoos on the caprice, I´d use some white paints if you paint something, and I´d just search glyphs on the internet for content :)

I'm still figuring out how to do mine... And I have to say your choice of colours is really cool! Might try something similar... Maybe you could make a list of killed enemy units on the armor... Like pilots do on their jets.

But actually add them after each battle! So your bastiladon gains experience each time it kills someone/something :woot:

I'm going to fight Nagash in this month, sooo this could be a nice idea. Fire burning glyphs representing defeated Lord of the Dead could be reallly cool :D

I would go a step further, place a small magnet into the caprice and have a glyph of some sort that you can take off and add markings too.

And then go crazy and buy and paint a bastiladon with different markings each time you kill some one!!
Although this might significantly reduce the amount of times you use a bastiladon!!
And you army could be based around the hundred bastiladons of Northern Lustria!! :D:D
