Hi guys ! I am french ,so sorry for my english, i'll do my best :
i want to do a 2000 points army, i'll start to buy the start collecting but i dont know what can i use, if it's strong or not ... I want a strong offensive army but with some defence, i hate the invocation system btw but i like wizard , they are very usefull and for protect my saurus it's good !
but the problème is : I am limited in points.
    So let's go :
    Scar veteran on carnosau 260
    8 knight 192
    Shadowstrike starhost:
    starpriest skink 100
    24 skinks with boltspitter 184
    5 chameleons
    3 ripperdactyles 140
(holy..., for me , it's so strong. Ripperdactyles rule with chameleons is very strong)
    Eternal starhost :
    3x5 sauris guard 300
    chakax 140
(with a wizzard, and with chakax, temple guards are so tanky (2+ save ????)and make so much damage, but chalax is very usefull with a slann ... And i dont have it ...sad)
    bastiladon 300
    stegadon 260
ok so we have 2000 point if i am not an idiot
but arghhhh i would like to have a slann but meh... And people say saurus knights are bad , but i think my carnosaur will blow up if they are missing
if you have some advices or other things, maybe you can give me your list or maybe you have some strategies ... Thank you a lot ! And sorry for my english , i hope your eyes will not burn ! :)

So are they letting use the units that way? Normally you have to pay for the minimum points size, and or take multiples of that. Knights aren't terrible, they will keep you carno going.
Similar to what you have but try this:

    Leaders
    Skink Starpriest (100)
    Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (260)
    - Warblade
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100)

    Battleline
    5 x Saurus Knights (120)
    - Blades
    - Seraphon Battleline
    5 x Saurus Knights (120)
    - Blades
    - Seraphon Battleline
    5 x Saurus Knights (120)
    - Blades
    - Seraphon Battleline
    20 x Skinks (160)
    - Meteoric Javelins & Star Bucklers

    Units
    5 x Chameleon Skinks (120)
    3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140)

    Behemoths
    Bastiladon (300)
    Stegadon (260)

    Battalions
    Firelance Starhost (60)
    Shadowstrike Starhost (120)
    1980/2000

Charge with knights, retreat then charge with Carno, other two units of knights do similar. Always get the charge and keep them rotating, while the rest shoot into combat and take objectives. The

Heavenswatch is great, not quite as good as Thunderquake, but a good stand in. Bloodclaw is brilliant. Using all 4 heroes command abilities just offers so many buffs.

but actually i am thinking that seraphon are actually a bit weak no ? I watched the ironjawz and woowww they are tanky and so strong what the hell ... I am thinking my seraphon cant beat them ... But i play them because i love the look of the army but ... Guards are strong but too much expensive, mages are nerfed , saurus warriors are not tanky ... And saurus knight are slow ... But do you think their rules will be buff ? and something like that, point cost, ect ...( i am new, dont beat me plz >_< )

    Maybe something like this:
    Leaders
    Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (260)
    - Warblade
    Saurus Oldblood (100)
    - Suntooth Maul
Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100)
    Saurus Sunblood (120)

    Battleline
    10 x Saurus Warriors (100)
    - Clubs
    10 x Saurus Warriors (100)
    - Clubs
    10 x Saurus Warriors (100)
    - Clubs

    Units
    1 x Razordons (60)
    3 x Skink Handlers (40)

    Behemoths
    Bastiladon (300)
    Bastiladon (300)
    Troglodon (200)

    Battalions
    Thunderquake Starhost (120)
    Bloodclaw Starhost (100)

    Total: 2000/2000

Blood claw gives your warriors and ither heroes reroll to hit vs a unit, or reroll hits of 1 and charge rolls of 1, additional attacks when you roll a 6, and dome additional movement. Your bastiladons are hard to kill moreso here as they heal. Got some shooting and lots of stompy monsters.

    okay ! I buildt a new list :
    eternal starhost :
    15 temple guards 300
    warden 140
    (+80 formation)
    slann 260
    engine of god 240
    bastiladon 300
    scar veteran on carnoaur 260
    5 knight 120
    skink starseer 160
    rippersactyle 140
    Okay the strat is :
my temple guards keep my slann and the starseer safe with chakax , guards gain 3+ save and 2+ with magic shield
they gain one attack of weapon with warden rule and if they dont moove D3 damage on each attack , if they miss saves or hit and wound , the starseer is here with reroll !
    guards become monster ...
the slann help the engine and they can destroy ennemies behind TG
scar vet on carno can rush ennemies with knight and ripperdactyles , ripperdactyles can have illimity wounds with the beak ,if they miss , starseer reroll ! ... And i dont talk about the bastiladon , just overpowered with shield and starseer reroll...
