Hello, I am painting the seraphon pyramid and I would like to paint a very aged gold. Does anyone give me advice on what paints to use?

You could paint it green and then drybrush it up to gold? It will give it the look of verdigris having settled into the recesses.

I also base black, and dry brush gold lightly, as gold doesn't get verdigris as that is oxidized copper. gives it an older worm look. ill upload a picture tonight when I get out of work.

I dont know if this is what you're going for but the blades on my Stalkers were done with a base of Vallejo Gun Metal and then I painted the Nazdreg Yellow contrast paint over it. Quick and dirty. 20200216_214905.jpg

It doesn't get oxidation, but it if you look at some golden items from antiquity there is often material settled into the recesses. Gold will also have a psudo patina if it's in a damp environment long enough.
