    If the answer is yet, please consider helping me add a Seraphon section to the Lustriapedia city and vocabulary portion.

    The vast majority of my local WHF meta is either sticking with 8th edition or leaving to Kings of War, so I'm not currently planning to buy any Age of Sigmar books, but as a moderator and fluff enthusiast, I want to keep the various indexes up to date with Age of Sigmar stuff as much as lizardly possible.

    From what I've been able to glean is that the Seraphon are literally straight-outta-the-World-that-Was Lizardmen from right out of END TIMES Warhammer. They apparently all got in their Exodus Engines, made for the stars, and are back to take partake in the age old game of vengeance. What happened out there in the stars to give them Necron-like phase-in/phase-out powers and remade them as celestial weapons... that's what I'm still hazy on... XD

    It's the celestial part I was wondering about. Perhaps I'm reading too much into the name but Seraphon looks a lot like Seraphim and the anti-Daemon role of Lizardmen seems to have been amplified. Some people were wondering if this made Lizardmen the new angels of the Warhammer world.

    If the idea of Lizardmen having space faring technology is accepted... I'd like to propose orbital bombardment. Lizards now rule the new world through aerial superiority!

    If we have the technology to travel across the stars (something beyond our current capacity in the real world) then at the very least we should have access to nukes, lasers, biological weapons, etc. (something which we already have today in the real world). After all, AoS is a watered down form of 40K fantasy.

    If that's true, we could just produce/breed Stegadons and drop them on people (Like spawning of Bob's drawing)[IMG]

    Dropping rocks is cleaner. No half-life to fret about. And very scale-able.

    Erm... don't you go confusing thinned-out modern weaponry with Magitek. There's plenty GW could do within the Magitek realm without resorting to Scifi-esque shenanigans or even modern analogues. They could have access to...er....Dragon Wrath Bombs, Solar Rays, Toxic Misters etc. ;p

    @Slanputin - what the M are "red slayers" ?

    I guess steamhead duardin are dwarfs? And does, "The ______ forces are more wayward still..." refer to elves?

    @pendrake

    The Red Slayers are the "other" Dwarfish faction - they're now mercenaries. From what I can tell they're fashioned towards being very fighty followers of Grimnir (spelling?).

    Duardin are indeed Dwarfs, the more traditional smithy faction who follow Grungi.

    The wayward forces are a references to the Aelfs, as they're now called.

    Here's the image of the other two big factions if you've not already seen it:

    Indeed, Old One tech is a mixture of magic and science.
    so it need not follow the progression of real world tech.

    While I fully agree with this idea, having space faring "technology" seems a little bit too advanced for the warhammer setting. Not much challenge defeating ground forces with that sort of techological/magical superiority.
