Thanks a bunch :) here are the skinks all finished, not sure how to base then though. Was going to go for dark jungle bases, but am leaning towards something lighter like sand?

You could do sand with grass clumps.
... Hmm, are the skinks supposed to have bloody teeth ?
and a nice fine point felt pen can make short work in doting those eyes. ;)

Yeah that's a nice idea, I think I'll do that.
And no, I'll clean them up a little. I might not to the actual teeth, but I'll tidy up the lips.
The pen is a fine idea!

Hahaha, I'll give you that one ;) thankyou!
Some more progress on the bird too :)
    Gobble gobble CRUNCH!

Wandering about rules for these, might write new ones for AoS or may just use them as counts as Saurus Cavalry?

image.jpg image.jpg Firs six skinks finished! Very pleased with these, opted for slimey swampy bases. Tried the sand but didn't like it, so washed the bases with Coelia green shade and then wet-mixed in some nurgles rot. Voila!
Also the first bird is done and ready for painting :)

Brady eyes got me thinking about chameleon skinks, something which I wanted to include in y army anyway.
I hate fine cast with a passion, and the metal ones are too pricey so I've started making some from my box of skinks :)
