Its in my signature, nothing amazing. I have been painting for a little over a year at this point, but I really don't have a natural affinity for it. I mostly use painting as a way to distress from long days after work, cant paint well angry so it forces me to just let the day go, calm down and focus on something other than bureaucrats and federal policies lol I'll bump when I add new things to the insta. pointers and constructive criticism welcome Per @pendrake request : https://www.instagram.com/wilson.luther.iii/
Anyone viewing the forum with a small screen (of a mobile device) will not see the link. ...unless there is a way to turn that on.
Some nice models there indeed! I think you could go a bit more heavy with the washes sometimes, to increase contrast a bit more, but all in all I like them a lot.
It did not work. I think it used to. I know it did on another forum I read but somehow it acts like it is locked on portrait format now.
Painting a knight invoker for a list I am considering, decided to actually follow the paint guide. (undercoat/base, shade, layer, dry, shade) and will be taking @Aginor 's advice to go a little heavier on the shades themselves. so far got the base coat/undercoat and the first shade done, used retributors spray and nuln oil. so far so good.
Looking good so far! I’m assuming you won’t be going down the ever so slightly vulgar route of chopping off all his fingers save the middle and possibly the index...
no I was actually gonna try and find a clear pellet from a pellet gun and make it kinda lightning-y glue it in his hand. very fluffy to the incantor ability and spell
Did some spring cleaning, got all my painted models in one spot (mostly), with the second set of skinks almost done (just needs to shade them and accentuate the jewelry)
Just a bump, My dread came in and I have started the unpackaging and cleaning process (pics in the insta). This mutha is HUGE.... the tail is as long as a Carno....
Bump, if any one wants to check out the progress on the Fyre slayers and my lost kingom Hueitch (carno) WIP side by side with a GW carno
Updated with a salamander test scheme, I think it came out great and will most likely be doing this for the other two I have. I normally base my Seraphon in red and the dinos in blue, but this guy is lava incarnate lol, so I am considering running the Slamander packs in reverse... with the handlers based in blue. thoughts?
