That is the plan, its first time using one, so will be some trial and error. Will setup a paint blog when I get to that part.

I certainly am! That’s a very generous offer - I currently have a lot of stuff still to make and paint at the moment but I’ll send you the relevant details when I next have a window where I’ve finished the vast majority of my stuff.

Thanks for the tip. Do you use it even when only using a little paint in the cup (i.e. only to paint a tiny area), or only when you have more paint in it to delay the drying time?

It stops the paint spitting, it’s basically a thinner

Does that stuff work similar to Vallejo Retarder Medium or is it completely different? Or is it more akin to GW Lahmain Medium? Or neither?

Oh, I searched up the name and what I found there was mainly that it increased the drying time. Though when thinking on it I guess that is perhaps what all thinners do as well since you thin the paint.

Do you also use this for paints that are marketed as paint for airbrushing like Valleljo Game Air?

It depends really, size of your needle, airbrush make etc all act differently so it’s trial and error at first but if you use it all the time you’ll just get used to applying more coats, remember 3 coats with an airbrush is not as thick as 2 with a brush but has better coverage and depth, that’s the beauty really thin coats are easy and consistent.
