Well I have finally finished my main part of my training and with a very very very long hold I now have no real excuse to..well... excuse my painting! So as either a) a log or b) shaming tool, my Lizards will be coming online. So here are some pictures of my SV and Skink Preist still in the paintworks. Criticism welcome (Honest! Yeah I realised that but too lazy to get another lamp. However have now got it after having a massive dinner (not feeling guilty at all...). And cheers. I really enjoy painting skin compared to bones. Should have the finished products by tonight apart from bases. Lloyd
Some of my skinks still being done. As my mate has swanned off back to Belfast and taken all my basing supplies for his DE my models will be baseless for about 2 weeks (I know outrage!). however here are my current skinks which I did in 30 minutes. Will be done by this evening. Yes they are messy but its just how i paint until right to the end. I absolutely hate painintg R'n'F troops. So their quality will not be the best I can muster! Lloyd
that blue on top of the white bodies actually looks really good. sucks about your basing stuff but thats a good looking colour scheme there
Looking good so far. I like the colors you have chosen for your army. I especially like the scare-vet's "bucklers" through use of skink shields. Continue to keep us posted!
sorry so far people havnty seem that bothered about it but could i get a pic without out a lamp..ime guessing thats what makes it so yellow i cant quite see the colours properly sorry.
I will do my best. And now I have passed my course proper (the dark side muahhaaa!) and now I am holding up here I will have copius ammount of time. And I will try my best. Mess lighting is pretty shabby. And n810 is that an ICAO code for your location? haha! All the base for the skinks wood and gold done so far. Will try and do some more tomorrow as I have been told to get mashed! And who would argue with that!! The bucklers are designed to cover the arms. I had to do alot of chop work to turn the TG champion arm into a Gweapon. Lloyd

Nah I don't mind. I'm training to become an RAF Aerospace Battle Manager and have completed my streaming course. And now I have about 6 months holding being a general dogs body. Any way my skinks are now finished however as I am expected to in the bar I will upload pictures of them when my hangover has worn off and I have watched the rugby! Lloyd
OK finished my skinks this morning just been too lazy/hungover to do anything about it. And yes there are painting errors but I will go back over them once everything is finished. It's just my funky way of painting! This will be my last update till next week as I am going on AT. Lloyd
