30 wound cap 7/30 can be 1 hero 8/30 monster/warmachine (if it has both keywords it counts as both keywords and double wounds in the cap) Slann (7 wounds) 10 Saurus guard(10) 3 terradon (9) 1 salamander (3) My league is heavy with undead players and nurgle. My other army is fyreslayers so could mix the two. I was thinking for 80 could mix but the seraphon have many options by themselves. The fyreslayers have shown to be lacking in quite a few areas so I thought I'd try seraphon since I have a bunch. Games are six rounds
No idea checking with the guy at the store. With how he set things up im guessing probably 10. But I guess I'll see later what he says
I know most of what I'm playing is festus with blight kings, black Knights, grave guard, necromancers. Especially with most of the times of war being played the fyreslayers squad I have is getting demolished. Just looking for something a bit more competitive
What models do you have available? Tell me everything you have. Also don't mix armies outside of themed armies, you trade away synergy and synergy is king in AoS.
I know I need a seraphon hero yet Two carnosaur kit - one not built 16 Saurus Knights 12 Saurus Warriors 2 stegadon kits -not built 3 terradons 1 bastiladon 1 salamander Don't know if you wanted to know fyreslayers too. Guessing not but here's what I have there 15 auric hearthguard 1 magmadroth 1 grim wrath berserker 20 vulkite berserker
Hm... if it's only 30 Wounds, you're going to be rather limited on how much synergy you can bring... for the most part, I reckon tactical synergy should be the best way forward as opposed to ability synergies. Based on what you've got, I'd recommend this list. Bastiladon w/ Solar Engine Slann Starmaster Salamander 12 Saurus Warriors The Bastiladon goes without saying because it's basically our best monster. Have Mystic Shield on it as much as possible and it'll never die, plus its Solar Engine can hit really hard if the Dice Gods smile on you, and if you're up against any daemons then they're toast. The Starmaster is ideal for his Constellation abilities, the Great Drake being the best choice here because it'll make hitting much easier for you. The Salamander is good for destroying armour and causing high burst damage, use it for shooting into combat and hit-and-run tactics. And split the Knights into two units, for such a small game their normal weakness of As for the Warriors, they should be there to counter any infantry to stop you from being overwhelmed by numbers, however in such a small game they have a disadvantage due to having no horde bonus so make sure they're neve in combat alone, always bring the Basi to their fights.
For division one I could take the bastiladon or the hero not both they limited to one or the other. I'm guessing the bastiladon Misread that I can take both
Here's the four divisions. The wounds double count if they are a hero monster and take up the wounds in both categories. Like the 12 wound magmadroth takes up the hero and wound cap in d2 and he's counting that as 24 wounds out of the total
Well then that's not enough to get another monster, so just stick to the Basi. At least 33% of your Wounds should be spent on infantry, so that's 16 Wounds. Seeing as how you only have 12 Warriors, you'll have to switch them for 8 Knights to serve as your infantry. Which is fine. So that gives you 12 Wounds left to spend... hm... honestly based on the models you've got, it may be smart to just spend those remaining wounds on more Knights to bulk up your core seeing as how you can't spend them all on a Stegadon. That'd give you what, 14 Knights which you could split into two units to pull of alternating charge/retreats, assuming that they have Lances.
You could, but never make the summoning attempt the focus of your casting because it's long odds. Only try to summon the beastie if you have a spare spell to burn.
