7th Ed. Lustria themed Empire army

Hey all, I've decided to do a small 500 point empire force as a relief from painting and gaming with lizards.
However, since my love for the lizards is still strong, I'm theming them as a Lustrian expedition!

I've currently bought a box of pistoliers and and box of flagellents. The flagellants will be played as dilerious from fever and the pistoliers just look the part.

Planning on some ogre bulls for hired muscle.

Any ideas on what else to include?

Off the top of my head: Greatswords with stolen Obstinite weapons, archers who wear chameleon skink skins, an archmage riding on a stolen palanquin (counting as a Pegasus) ect.

 

This army is a great idea! Can't wait to see it come together

Take a look at the Lustrian Themed Armies link in the top post of this thread. Even if you can't get the exact models anymore it has some great stuff on converting human models.

I think this is an awesome idea, i really like the stolen obsinite weapons. Ofcourse your regiments would never get of lustria.. because no-one ever got to steal them and live to tell the tale really

Pirazzo's lost legion is always a favorite, since they went to lustria, and found gold, and helped the lizardmen...

The models have bits of lustrian gold on their uniforms too.

 

One does not simply walk into Lustria.

 

How did pirazzos boys help the lizards?
i dont really know anything about them, only that they look awesome from the pics in the rulebook...
