its not much, but it most certainly gave me the chills

Mazdamundi has a talent for changing the course of the world, so what can be big enough to ECHO THROUGH AGES even when we are in the END TIMES ?

Ancient warrior spirits?: "..Awaken"

New alliances with the other races?: "Help the younger ones"

maybe even: "Destroy the Polar Gates"

...or BIGGER!!

A BIG secret hidden away for the direst of times?: "Set firing coordinates for the polar gates...Deathstar...FIRE!"

Something big in the jungle?: "...Unleash...THE KRAKEN!"

I posted this on warseer, its my theory on the Mazdamundi stuff

Mazdamundi will be changing the world, the entire map will change and a lot of the side realms like Nippon, Cathay, ect will go away.

ie moves the continents which will

1: make the map more unique instead of the earth rip off it is now more their own world

2: conveniently lands like Nippon, Cathay, ind, ect will be destroyed or moved into the empire (Cathay) this allows them to get rid of these lets face it humans with earth culture rip offs and make warhammer more their world.

3: it's sort of a reset when you think about it and then the 500 year or so leap in the fluff like (Hastings or Harry I believe said) would be the rebuilding and reforming of borders and kingdoms.

Seems like specific wording was chosen for a reason (or I am giving GW writers to much credit, but I feel they have planned things out.)

= You are. Having done some writing for the 40K RPGs, I can tell you that the direction from GW on writing it to use big, grand, uber words. Nothing in the Warhammer universe is normal, and they don't want normal words used to describe things.


Now, "asunder" is hardly a Big Word, but it is different-ish, so I think someone may have just been riding their thesaurus to avoid saying "destroyed."

I have no problem with this. It does make for more interesting text. I'm just saying you may not want to read too much into it.


All that said, I really hope you are right about the continental realignment. That would be awesome!

Indeed, im starting a VC army, and im gonna include that undead Bahamut with a vampire on it...no matter what.

Agreed that he will tap into the geomantric web again (its his super power), but since the wording "spoken command" is used, even after Sleb's info, I tend to think that something more along the line of a paradigm shift will happen.

That or the command is to the other slann in aiding him.

anyway, im VERY excited for the coming end times books!

I think it would be fantastic to get a Mazdamundi model. Yes, more conversion pieces, but just think: a new Slann pose that doesn't cost a ton of cash from eBay (forge world Slann), maybe another Steg head/tail to further differentiate them. Surely some new howdah pieces that could be used for all sorts of things...

Also, notice the product details on Lore Of Undeath battle magic cards: every wizard in the game can use it!

looking at the nagash model , it is on one of the big monster bases. Maybe maz will come on a massive steg that will fit on one of those?

not sure about Heraldos del destardo.
I think it says that the unit with this rule takes one less wound from unstable.

The archai is the same, just with halberds and a 4+ armor save.

also suffers a wound less from unstable.............aaand this is where I just said "ill wait for someones translation"

WHAT SHOULD BE NOTED THOUGH!!

Look at the statline for the riding characters! there is one shared for the monster and the rider! and the type is ONLY monster!

I think 9th rules are showing here.
