Someone else here who still knows this?
Raumpatrouille Orion - Tanz den Galyxo!.jpg
    Or if you remember the"scanner"...
___ hat raumpatrouille die phantastischen abenteuer des raumschiffes orion.jpg
Again I don't know if this show was shown international or only in German... 60s were not the time when German shows were synchronized often... But it was the German answer to star trek...

    Law and Order: Criminal Intent

Greatest Tank Battles (wouldn't recommend watching it for historical accuracy, though, and the whole concept of "Greatest" in the context of historical battles is pretty meh)

    Ed, Edd n Eddy

    Top 3? That’s tricky...

    Merlin
    The Last Kingdom
    Battlestar Galactica 2004

Although if the upcoming BBC version of the War of the Worlds is really good, it may well rise to the top of the list (it’s already looking good just for being in the proper setting).

I don’t think I could narrow it down further than this:
    Animation:
    Star Wars Rebels
    Star Wars The Clone Wars
    Batman The Animated Series
    Live Action:
    Hustle
    The Thick of It
    Doctor Who

I just chose my top 3 live-action dramas thinking that that was what the question was asking, but I can also put in my top 3 in other categories:

    Game Shows:
    Raven
    Knightmare
    Bullseye

    Animated:
    Star Wars the Clone Wars
    Dreamworks Dragons Series
    Dennis and Gnasher (1996 series)

    Sitcom:
    You Rang, M'Lord?
    Terry and June
    Dad's Army

High school anime girls with a idiotic plot, BUT, it has tanks, so it's all gud.

If it is an episodic TV series as opposed to a movie, then it counts!

A very close race in the top 10 for me. Depends a lot on my mood of the day which ones make the top three.
So I picked three pretty different ones from my top 10.

    - Star Trek TNG (childhood memories)
    - Modern Family (not a fan of comedy but that one is hilarious for me)
    - Game of Thrones. (Good actors, high production quality)
