Which one of the following are you referring to?
    • beating me in terms of painting? (this is probably true)
    • beating me in terms of gaming? :D(hahaha, pretty unlikely)
    • the general beatings I receive? :blackeye: (I told you not to say anything.... remember? I "fell" down the stairs) ;)

Thank you! Hopefully I finish it one day.

All three actually... though I would not have mentioned the last point... we don't want the Klingons to become jealous ...;):vulcan:

I have the same feeling sometimes - I often add more to miniatures I first painted when I was younger - in fact my Tyranids I’m doing at the moment I first started when I was younger and at the time I called them ‘finished’ and put them back in the box to start something else when I had done some work on them. Several years later I looked at them again and thought “they could do with a bit of touching up” and got them out again, adding new details such as eyes and touching over bits of grey that had got into the red and vice versa that I ignored when I was younger. The same happened with my Saurus Cav and Dwarf Miners a while ago. :artist:

I also get the same feeling about the call of PC games - StarCraft sometimes pulls me away from painting my Tyranids to play as the Zerg...

I do love to see unit fillers - they give a unit so much more character and also save you on the cost of getting some more models. I was thinking it resembled Skeletor!

A really nice little diorama there, and really thematic with the brutal nature of the Marauders. :)

Indeed... from now on we'll have to keep that last point under wraps. Chaos is ever watching our actions. :D

That sounds like a good strategy. I have yet to touch up my old models (partially because I have a billion "new in box" models still sitting around), but I may one day take another look a couple of my old Necron models.

Damn video games... why do they have to be so addictive.

Thank you kindly! The cost savings is definitely a huge benefit as well. Also, I have more fun investing additional time into a decorative unit filler than repeatedly painting the same models. Especially in a unit as large as my marauder horde.

They are few and far between... but there are indeed a few of them in existence!
I am definitely not an expert, but my tool of choice for such a task are Silicone Clay Shapers. I find them to be extremely useful when using greenstuff. I have two of them myself, one with a flat tip and one with a pointed tip.

I might as well add the Kroxigor I painted a few months back to my paint blog. This was a test piece experimenting with a potential colour scheme. I have 2 more of these old Kroxigors that I plan on experimenting new colour combinations on.

Thank you my friend! I do have another pair of kroxigors primed and ready to go...

Of course, there are also my beloved Tomb Kings. What I really need to do is break out my completely unused air brush.

We should start an airbrush beginners thread. I used mine like...once and I am sure it will help with the extreme learning curve a bit.

    1. Get your psi right on the compressor
    2. Get your paint thin enough to spray in a fine mist
    3. Keep around 6in away from the model and apply thin even coats
    4. Rinse and repeat step 3 until your happy
