So I'm new to collecting lizardmen haven't played yet. :depressed: But anyway the 8th edition army states that the Old Ones came on space ship and did some magic/science/had a ton of beer(maybe) and help shaped the planet to its "current" state. It also say they have done this to other planets.

How do you think these other planet look like? Are some advance in technology? Or maybe others very primative?

It is possible that the old ones lost interest in the warhammer world(what's it name anyway?) or gave up due to chaos and out of control prodigals.

Yea the fact that the Old Ones came from space has allways been the fluff,
Their tech is a mix of magic and science, on par with anything the Necrons have.
I believe the Old ones evacuated (posibly though the gates) after they realized
that a war gainst chaos was unwinable at best.

Ps. Orks are said to have come from another plannet as well, spores where said to have been on the old ones hull when they arrived (orks breed via spores).

Is there such a thing as a list of the other planets (moons and similar bodies) in the same solar system as The Warhammer Fantasy Planet? Have they ever published a map or diagram?

    A list of official names[?]

Morslieb - is the name of a moon IIRC.
Does (did?) the planet the Olde Worlde is on have a name?

Yes there is a list, mostly from one of the novels once-upon-a-time set in Lustria, The Burning Shore, see

    http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Warhammer_world

Liber Fanatica IV had a fan-written overview building on this

    http://www.liberfanatica.net/LF4download.html

None of this deals much with Old Ones and Slann except they knew all this and are indirectly source of what anyone now knows.

Maybe that is a WFRP phrase.?. IDK. Somewhere in that thread it said the map had been commissioned for some FRP product.

If they truly blow up the planet to start over with ninth they could move the biggest Moon from....<looks at chart>....planet 7, "Isharna", and drag it onto the old fourth orbit. They could place it at the point on the orbit that would be opposite the original planet's position. The Star would block the view to the debris field if there was anything left.

They would need some Old One spacecraft to pop-in and put things right. Drag various moons to new positions and so forth... <shrug>

Speaking about planets I found a really fun little planet maker:

The WF Star System Before and After TET

    [IMG][IMG]

The planet names have been added from the WFRP Harmony of the Spheres chart. Distances between planets and to the star are Not To Scale. Planets are sized roughly as shown on the WFRP chart. Individual planet graphics were generated randomly by that planet maker:
http://donjon.bin.sh/world/index.cgi ...I had linked in an earlier post OR they were clipped from various NASA/Kepler generated exo-planet diagrams and in some cases color-shifted to suit the Warhammer planets. Various moons are not shown and Voelia is a ringed planet (indicated edge-on).

    New Planetary Map...

    WH-StarSystem-Regalia.png
...so this time we know the name of one planet; but no names for the rest; or if there are others.
