Purple skinks

    Hey guys

    Looking to see your purple/pink/black skinks!!!

    When I ask my 3 year old she told me those colour and I kinda wanna have different colour scheme for different skinks so I’m thinking in the purple range for my handlers?!?

    The skin is Vallejo Hexed Lichen, washed with Army Painter Purple Tone, highlighted with GW Genestealer Purple.

    The crest is Vallejo Squid Pink, washed with AP Purple Tone, Highlighted again with Squid Pink.

    The scales are Vallejo Hawk Turquoise, washed with a 1:1 mix of AP's Blue and Green Tones, then highlighted or dry brushed with Vallejo Electric Blue.

    Of course any equivalent colours from any manufacturer would work haha.

    I'm glad they have the seal of approval :)

    I played with the thought of doing purple Skinks but chickened out and went for blue.
    @Explodingzeb has a nice color combo there with the turquoise!

    Other nicely copmplementary colors are yellow and orange. Blue and pink work as well, I use that for my Terradons:
