Hello everyone! I have finally decided to take the plunge into AoS. I’ve been looking to maximize my bang for my limited buck. I found a guy in my area who is willing to sell me: Carnosaur 2 Stegs 3 Ripperdactyls (2 assembled, 1 on sprue), 8 Saurus Cavalry, 9 Temple Guard (6 painted, 1 broken weapon, 3 partial paint) a couple of skinks Skink hero fully painted Saurus warriors Troglodon He is asking for $190. The question is, is this lot worth it? Or am I better off trying to get my hands on a Starclaw Strikeforce and starting from there? Thanks in advance for any help, also wanted to say I love what y’all have done with this site and it’s community!
yes the trog and carnasaur alone are 180$ new the whole thing is over 400 thats a great deal as far as plastic for cash goes
As far as viability, how is it though? I’m not trying to be hardcore competitive but would definitely like to cause people some problems. Guy from the shop is telling me that Seraphon are close to getting a new book. People excited about that?
Ultimately you will want to add a Slann to the force, and maybe another 3 flyers. Check out the link to GHB2019 list in my signature for some ideas about lists.
yeeeeeeeeeees? we have been waiting for a book for a wile now since last april but we are the only ones left so we will be getting a book in the next month or 2. as for viability that can change soon but not much of our line is worth using, of what you have abouve 2 Stegs (depending on how they are built) 3 Ripperdactyls, 8 Saurus Cavalry, are good and all the skinks
