I made a blog for the fluff for my army. I'm creating my own city, a lost City-Temple in the Old World, within the boundaries of the Empire. This way, as I get new units, I write in new spawnings. Each is marked by the Old One Tepok, so the city whole city is made up of a Sacred Host.

Keep in mind I wrote this quick. I was unable to contain my excitement, so I rushed it a bit, but I still like it.

By the way, I got my names from the lizardman word guide. Zec-Lot means means Intruder-Slayer, and Huinichuq loosely translates to Tiny-Magic, a suitable name for a skink priest!

I like it. but since your army is from the old world they could use other creatures instead of stegadons and coldones, but what ever you decide, it is YOUR army. i really like the story, it really draws you inside the story. and you see, fell and hear the impressions of Zec-lot and Huinichuq, you are a great "fluffer"(if that's even a word)!

Thanks! Since Tepok is one of the Old Ones of knowledge and foresight, I figured it wouldn't be TOO cheesy to have a hatchery in the city grounds, kept under magical Stasis so the various eggs would survive over the millennia and then hatch when the Lizardmen needed them.

It is a word. Though it's a term in the porn industry for someone who gets the 'actors' 'ready.' for their scenes. But I know whatcha mean!

Really good stuff Deathfrisbee! My hat goes off to you, for contributing to this neglected part of the hobby.
I'm looking forward to reading more of your fluff.

I've always liked the idea of Lizardmen reclaiming old ruined temple cities in the Old World- when I first started collecting Lizards, our campaign was set entirely in the Massif Orcal in Bretonnia, and I had to work out how my Lizards would ever get there.

I ended up working a battle where the Slann had activated 2 ruined waystones and created a portal to transport his army from Lustria to Bretonnia, to be met by colonising High Elves. Over the (many) years since, the idea has further developed, and the long- reestablished High Elf City is built upon the ruins of the Temple City.

Currently the Slann are trying to negotiate an allaince with the High Elves, after many defeats, as an old and greater evil is stirring in the area.

The "negotiation" is gonna be happening soon, 2,500 points aside, so I'll let you know the result. I'm choosing to negotiate with a Slann, an Engine of the Gods, and a unit of 40 Saurus Spearmen, amongst other things...
