Blog Return of the Ancient Painter: Troggoths added

Just went through all the pages of the blog, and damn, that's some awesome painting skills there! (Might have to use some of the earlier colour schemes on my own models haha) no matter what colour you choose for the Dread Saurian, it'll turn out epic with your talent for painting :D looking forward to seeing more now!

I know this is one of your older posts, but these Kroxigors are amazing. Someone in the community made these correct? I'm gonna dig around and see if I can find the thread, but just wanted to say these are phenomenal.
Good luck, the request/waiting list thread is a lost cause. Feel free to post in there, but I wouldn't get your hopes up waiting for a reply any time soon as woogity and his Ms. seem to only pop in sporadically and only to answer questions about the models. They haven't given any indication how far along the list they are, and haven't even posted a set price for any of their models. I'd honestly wait until they figure out some of their logistics issues and can guarantee a level of stock or at the very least start communicating more so people have an idea what is going on at any given time

I do find it a bit surprising. If I were them, I would be pumping those bad boys out. There is probably a small fortune to be made. The sculpts are lovely and I'm sure people would be willing to pay top dollar for them. I have no experience in the industry however, so I might be overlooking some logistical or practical limitations that could hinder one from doing so. Also, I have no idea what other things they have going on in their lives, so there is that too! That said, my gut instinct tells me that they are not maximizing what could be a great opportunity.

Just my personal opinion though! :p I could very well be wrong or overlooking something.

I emailed him about a month ago regarding my rex order, no reply so I don't hold out any hope of landing the models.

That's why I never even attempted to put forth an order. The models are lovely... but I'm not in the mood to jump through all those hoops to get them. I'm happy with my GW ones!

My experience was that patients is the key... waited about a year before I got pmed that I can get them if I still wanted... good thing that he's patient, too... took me some time to paypal the money over to him...

Fear not! There's still hope for all of us... ;)

I feel exactly the same. I'm sure that those models started as a personal project and then turned into possibly trying to make some for the community. Whether buying your own machines/materials to create these models, or going through another company - there's probably a lot more behind the scenes than most people realize. Also, like you said, who knows what is going on in their personal life, or maybe the intent wasn't to sell these long time; however, I do agree with you that it could (should) be a great opportunity.

I´m happy I got mine in time! I don´t think I´d feel happy with the GW´s version after having been delighted by those!
