It's good, a lot finer in terms of spray diameter and the trigger control is taking some getting used to compared to the last one but definitely making progress on that. The wings on the griffon came out pretty well so over all definitely happy with it.

Need to get some cleaner for it though, the vallejo stuff I had before is about to run out. What do you use?

Car windscreen wash mixed with water just make sure it has no ammonia in it.

Interesting! Just spray it though, or do you soak it in it?

Put it in as you would the normal cleaner then wash with water after just to clear any residue.

You can use it neat or dilute it and a fraction of the price.

One thing to consider though I use GW Air so might be different for Vallejo.

I've had a breakthrough on the 40k front, too.

Slaanesh themed Dark Mechanicus, pretty much fully converted.

I'm thinking lots wires and cables, blindfolds... Tentacles?! Really dark and gritty paint scheme, going to crack out my inks and washes.

Currently trying to track down a decent supply of Necron bits on the cheap, and browsing the third party sites for models and bits for conversions, if anyone has any ideas?

In regards to my Slaaneshi Dark Mechanicus army, I have been shopping for parts and kits to bash together to make what I want. I've found a couple of walker kits, namely the Dreadknight and Penitent engine which I plan on converting into two Chaos Decimators for starters.

I'm on the lookout for female miniatures I can use as their "drivers", found one potential but its not for sale on their website right now - so waiting to hear back as to when they are planning to release it. Still pondering the other one.

Need to put in an order to Green Stuff World to get some supplies either way!

Tonight I'm making my first attempt and scratch building a Dark Mechanicus dude out of my bits box.

Started off building a base out of bass strings and green stuff.

    IMG_2378.jpg

Removed the legs from an old metal terminator, attached the head of a zombie with a blindfold and stitched up mouth. Added a book to one of the cables. Shaped the bottom half of the cloak out of green stuff.

    IMG_2383.jpg IMG_2379.jpg IMG_2381.jpg

Added some smaller strips of green stuff to the top half, along with some wires. One arm is from the Deathwatch set, the other is a terminator arm I believe. Spikes are either from a terminator or abaddon...

Thanks, going to add some caps to the cables and then grunge it up with some liquid greenstuff - then this weekend I should get onto painting.

That is such a cool looking conversion! I love how it basically starts from nothing but quickly takes shape into something amazing.

Added a couple of bits and applied the texturing and weathering across the model. Waiting for it to dry now before priming it up.
