    Hi,
The ability of the starpriest that multiplies the damage by two on jaws and bites of the seraphon also applies to the Carno of the Oldblood, right?

So if i use command points of the Oldblood in his massive jaws, for exemple 3cp, i get 11 attacks on 3/3/-1/3 with each 6 on wounds hits, the damage is 6 ?

    Thanks for the answers :D

Yep, that stacks. It is a nice combo, especially if your opponent hasn't seen it yet and you make an offhand comment that he has to save that one attack or suffer SIX damage. :D

tx Aginor for reply :D !

Another noob question: Scar Veteran's command ability allows one more attack per 6, if those rolls are 6, does it still have an effect? Exemple: I throw 10 dice, I take 3 times 6 (so 3 more attacks), I throw 3 dice and if those 3 there is a 6 it is an attack more etc etc ...?

    Nope, that doesn't work.
Extra attacks generated by other attacks or abilites cannot cause extra attacks of their own.

Scar vet ability was errata'd IIRC... so that the rolls of 6 would generate extra attacks equal to the number of times the ability was used. basically if you use its ability 3 times and roll 10 dice getting three 6's those sixes would generate 9 extra attacks total. but yeah you would not roll again if any of the 9 extra attacks came up as 6's

How do you get 11 attacks with a carnosaur's massive jaws?

A healthy Carnosaur has 5 attacks with the jaws
One use of the command ability adds 2 attacks.
You use the ability three times.
    5+6=11 attacks.

Can you do that? In the core rules under command stuff it says command traits can't affect a Hero's mount unless it explicitly says it can.

If it does work that would help a lot. My carnosaur has never done more than like 3-4 wounds a turn if I'm lucky. between 3s and 4s to hit, then wound roll, then saves with low or no rend it doesn't do much.

    Command traits don't effect mounts.
But this is a command ability.
    Different thing. :)

Ah ok, I see now. That's good to know, thanks.

I started my seraphon army recently with 2 start collecting boxes and I've been kind of disappointed in the units in the boxed set, but not the army overall.

The knights are ok, a better version of warriors IMO.
The carnasaur has been very lackluster for it's points for me.
Trog is just ok, it's not great but it's not expensive either.
I converted the warriors to temple guard and they've been pretty decent.

I proxied a slann and some of the big monsters in a game and they did very well and make the army much better.

I've got a skink starpriest that's been great, and 48 skinks coming in tomorrow. Going to use the 2 skinks from the SC boxes to make 40 skinks and 10 chameleon skinks. I think next I need a bastilodon and engine of the gods, then a slann. Maybe ripperdactyls for a shadowstrike host and other random units like razordons and another bastilodon. Eventually I want some of most of the good units to summon as I need them.

Not sure if I want to get a slann next or not. Until I own enough models to summon I'm not sure if I need one. Maybe though.

I also need to make an astrolith bearer from some start collecting bits
