I recently got a SC box, and I think I've shaped as good an army as I can (having never played I don't know) from the contents and some extra I was given. Allegiance: Seraphon Skink Priest (80) - Priestly Trappings Skink Starpriest (80) Saurus Oldblood (120) - Suntooth Maul Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (240) - General - War Spear - Trait: Dauntless - Artefact: Coronal Shield 14 x Saurus Warriors (140) - Spears / Clubs 8 x Saurus Knights (144) - Lances 6 x Sequitors (144) - Stormsmite Mauls and Soulshields - 2x Stormsmite Greatmaces - Allies Total: 948 / 1000 Extra Command Points: 23 Allies: 144 / 400 Wounds: 57 Basic plan is slow advance with the Sequitors and Saurus Warriors guarding the Skinks, while the Knights do charges and the Carno-rider just gets in and wrecks shop. I don't know if that's a smart plan or not. Thoughts? Treat me like a moron, please.
Welcome to Lustria! The list looks like a good start to an army. Starpriest might be my favorite wizard in the game. In AoS you can't buy partial units for matched play. So Warriors have to be fielded in blocks of 10. Anything over 10 requires you pay for the next full 10. So if you want to use 14 Saurus warriors then you have to pay the points for 20. Same goes for the other partial units you are using.
Whoops, sorry, forgot to check back after I posted. Thank you, did not know that. I'll readjust accordingly.
