Awesome TMNT project
Haha that's cool!
Some more progress, remember this guy?
Still need to touch him up a bit, and fluff is still to come.
Also was inspired by this thread, here's my (as yet unpainted) take:
And finally another old-blood conversion, the pose didn't quite reach the heights I envisioned for it, but I think it still looks cool:
C & C welcome as always, and I wish I were a better painter haha
Very nice, liking what I see - for me it’s all in the pose! Those angles count for a lot, they give the model character and a glimpse into how they would behave in real life (clunky and slow, smooth and fast or just brutal and bloody) you can defo see this in these guys A+ sir, paint schemes look good but I’d say maybe practise a bit on some more mundane models to get the right look before applying to your hard work - don’t want any regrets (it also helps speed up your future work) again the colours can help bring out some character as well.
Keep it up, love seeing other people’s minds at work.
Thanks, yeah I definitely still have a long way to go as a painter, I just get too excited wanting to bring these guys to life to do any rank and file
I love your conversions! These add so much personality to your army.... I would love to see them painted!
Another conversion, I swear I'll paint all of this plastic eventually!
What a cute idea, very nice!
I really are impressed by the last one, terrifically done.
Looking forward to the end results
That my friend is really good, like it a lot - take time painting it, plan out what you want it to look like and do it justice
Indeed a really nice idea. And a great execution! Tempting to copy
