Well that looks really freaking silly. That dragon picks up a carnosaur which isn't all that much smaller from a nearly still andhovering position ... That really should only be possible if the dragon just crashed into it at full speed after a swoopdive..

Also, how the hell did the carnosaur fail to just bit the dragon's stomach open if it approaches that slowly.

Everything about this just looks silly.

On a sidenote, how do those dragons compare to carnosaurs in the fluff? Cuz apart from the rather silly looking animation it could be accurate I suppose.

First look at gameplay. It's from the quest battle "battle at the fallen gates". At E3 you have the opportunity to replay this quest battle, at 2 diffrent difficulty's.

they don't show the breaking of necks, but they mention it.

Ok. That is really not nice of them. I cannot afford the preorder this month. Maybe next month. Between the $200 I dropped on the Torg:Eternity kickstarter and 8th ed. 40k, I have no hobby funds left until July at a minimum, if even though. I will still buy it on preorder, just not right now.

Also, they should just come out and admit that Skaven are the fourth race. Of course, it's just like the Skaven to hide their existence despite irrefutable evidence, so I guess it's in character.

Have any of you noticed that CA have purposefully covered up the symbols of the 4th race on the case and sticker sheet? Lizardmen, High Elves and Dark Elves are all there but the 4th race's weaponry is covered up!

Here is the interview with Al Bickham. They discuss Mazdamundi, and show his skill tree, and a fair bit of gameplay.

Norscan seems like a good bet, with the announcement of it being a race that will be playable already before the launch of game two. Then we would get Skeggi in game two and regular Norscan on game one, perhaps. That would be very cool to see.
Another intersting "new" faction could be Dogs of War, making Tilea playable in the first game :) could also grant a new mechanic of hiring mercenaries, something that has been I'm past total war game.

Man, those videos get me more and more excited.
Judging by earlier "Total War" series games: Are those hard?
I am asking because I am not exactly the best strategy games player, but if I can beat StarCraft2 at medium difficulty with bonus goals of most missions (which I can) will I be able to have fun with that game?

It is quite a different experience than games like star craft, war craft and the age of empires series.
Even if you're a more casual player the games can easily be enjoyed, there's quite a lot of different difficulty levels, pretty much like most other rts. Remember that they are semi turn based semi rts ;)

You should be capable of getting an enjoyment of it despite not having played any other total wsr games. The warhammer 1 game wad to me one of the most newcomer friendly of the bunch, judging by this I suppose the second game will be about the same, maybe slightly more complicated :)
