All of the lizard models so far looks so cool, the Slann will take some getting used to, but the rest of the lots are just so fabulous. Love the way the saurus are animated and behave.

Can't wait til December, had to be a placeholder date! :D

They had the Troglodon model on the table a few times. I'm curious to see how that one will work in the game. That and how our Bastiladon will work. It's living artillery, and resilient to boot.

That will be one gorgeous model in the game. I really hope it gets a significant boost over its 8th edition counterpart, or it will be unplayable.

I want the Mazdamundi TW model as a standing Slann model in the Warhammer table top world - maybe this will get them to actually make a Mazdamundi model for once?

Well, Mazdamundi is kinda dead. He built a giant telepathic space wall, too keep all the illegal meteors out. But he couldn't handle the pressure and failed to make lustria great again. So I very much doubt he'll make any sort of comeback.

Since one can rename characters in the TW Game, perhaps a Slann with a fitting name should be my main character, attempting such a task. Obviously building a whole to hold all them illegal humans and darkelves out, together with getting rid of all those human beneficial attempts the previous slann lord made. Get ready for Slann Lord Ch'room'P

Is there a running spec out for the new version or is going to run on the same platform?

They haven't released the specs for the game yet, but I would assume they use the same as the previous game.

While I agree with you that there is a logic to not making a character that gets trapped at a certain point in time there is also an argument to be made that characters like Bormir (fingerss crossed on spelling) etc are made as playable characters because they have usefulness before they eventually die or something. Also they have tons of rulesets for him so not having the model specific is always a mystery to me :p.

I think the reason he never had a official model is financial reasons. A Slaan cost 30£ and a stegadon costs 35£. If Mazdamundis model costs less than those two combined, you would basically get 2 models for less money. But if his model costs more than those 2, then it's easier to just buy a regular Slaan and stegadon and convert them a little bit. That's just my theory.

Yeah that makes sense too but if they just did the alternate Slann for him for 30 or a bit more for the named Slann and custom look then people could place him on their Stegs how they wanted. But you're right they probably dug their own grave for that part :p.

I'd like to also point out that when the World that Was was destroyed and the Realms created EVERY soul from the old world came to the realms.

I'm sure Mr. Mundi could make a comeback, as his soul is somewhere in the Realms.

Wonder if they'll give lizards chameleon chiefs as an assassin character, since they don't really have special character other than lords, which would mean no Oxytl. Perhaps that role will simply fall to Skink Chief, but the other could be cool, though. If they chose not to have such a character, one implantation of it could be if skink chiefs had an upgrade called chameleon. I'm pretty sure that the skink cheif could fill the niche of an assassin and spy of the Lizardmen, like the empire has their witch hunters.

Anyway hope that they'll bring in chameleon skinks, there very fluffy units so I like them :D
