ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! The pics loaded really slow so I thought it was the model your casting! Really nice looking units and 5 Carnys! Here
Hahha sorry bout that! My friend is 3d printing the prototype, and will bring it when wisiting the 20th I will give it a polish and then put out a pic! And its 3 Carnosaurs and 2 Trogs
You smashed out that conversion pretty quickly and in good quality. I'm far too plodding with my work. I love it however - I may need my own Magmadroth... Also. Those carnos and trogs
Nice Magmadroth, I am working on my conversion aswell. Won't be ready in ages though Plus I love the army of Carnosaurs
I love everything I see here. The carnosaurs look so... alien. It's fantastic! And a horde of Kroxigors is nothing to sneeze at either. Nicely done.
Wauw guys thanks a lot. The second I saw the magmadroth I just thought "....yep...gonna have to split up my engine parts and be poor for a month". The bits fit the job awesomely! Can highly recommend it for the job
Your magmadroth set the tone for this amazing thread, but FIVE carnosaurs?! How did you find the time? And you gave each one so much individuality and character. Each rider and mount are very unique, and kinda scary/creepy/otherworldly at the same time. Do you have any fluff/background to them yet? Not that their needs to be, there is no real reason to justify looking that awesome.
How kind of you Well.. I actually made them in "sets" , So it was quite easy to get multiple done simoultaniously Riders: first made, and actually originally made for cold one characters (they have magnets in ther saddle so they can be taken of ) 3 Carnosaurs: quite an easy paint actually later added the bitz to mark one as Alpha Took me a day or such. 2 troglodons (white carnos): when I got the idea I think they were done within 2-3 hours A friend of mine gave me some treeman bitz, which is the ones you see attached (also on the skink rider, and original carnos). A big help on these is that I have my own company, and work a part time job in the evenings. This means that most of my days are quite flexible, so when inspiration strikes I can usually act on it on the spot I am currently making bastiladons from a couple of toys and ebay bitz, which I will put up soon (they are on hold, as I just got an idea for cheap and awesome looking varghulfs )
Fluffwise: yes, not written, but I might get to that Waiting for the official 9th age fluff, so I will be sure I dont write gibberish
