It is a fun edition of the game.

 

As are most of them

 

I only played two editions of WFB (7th and 8th) and one edition of 40k (4th), but of those I had the most fun with 8th edition WFB.

 

4th Ed Warhammer was an interesting read

Warmaster was fun to play

 

I haven't played that either. I do have a Warmaster Slann though!

I didn't know about it either until I randomly came across it in the discount section of a FLGS.

This one did... but it is over an hours drive away. I believe they have since closed down. It was a section of product that they wanted to get rid of, so they marked down the price considerably. I bought the Warmaster Slann for $8 if I remember correctly.

My main FLGS discounts all GW stuff 15%!

 

Sounds standard on the latter.

I've only seen the former at shows. There was a whole box of warmaster at a show when I was a kid. Original packaging, $2 per blister.

Damned if I don't kick myself now for not buying the whole thing

 

You could have made a pretty penny on that if you sold it on Ebay.
