Evening Lizards, I’ve set up this thread to talk about a little-known PC game that’s one of my favourites. It’s called Dungeons and Dragons: Dragonshard and I think it’s amazing, certainly not least because Lizardfolk are one of the main factions and they are my favourites not only in this game but in all the fantasy RTSs I’ve ever played! I don’t know if any of you have played it but I would recommend it for all Lizardmen fans because the Lizardfolk faction has a really good campaign that shows that they are actually the good guys of the story, rather than the human-elf-Dwarf alliance the Order of the Flame. Furthermore, I recommend it to anyone who liked the setting and campaign of Warcraft III but found the AI too hard to play against, even on easy level, for that is how I feel about WCIII - the AI is really horrible to play against if you have no idea how to beat it, and it is also really stupid so that if you can find a way to beat it, you will win easily. I hope that here I can raise Dragonshard fans and increase the game’s popularity, but for now I will leave you with an image of the most badass Dragonshard character of all...
I think I ignored that game because - RTS is not exactly my strong side - Eberron. Never liked the setting. I am a fan of the Forgotten Realms.
That’s a good deal. It should work on any PC that is Windows XP or newer as I have an XP computer and it works magnificently on it. I hope you enjoy playing it!
Let me know how you get on playing it - if you need any help I will be happy to advise as it is probably the one PC game I have played the most in my entire life!
So @Crowsfoot, after a while since you got Dragonshard, have you played it much, and if so, do you think it's good?
Certainly the Lizardfolk are my favourite of the 3, as in the campaign you find out why they are the true ‘good guys’ rather than the Order of the Flame.
